 Thank You for Visiting Here is a little about  me and my Journey.

My first  interaction  with music was when I was five, that's when I heard Elvis Presley for the first time. He was amazing and I  was just blown away with his music. We always had some kind of music playing when I was growing up, almost always country or old 50’s music. But Elvis to me was king. 

It wasn't till I was a teen when a friend of mine introduced me to Rock and Roll, Kiss was the first band and they blew me away, followed by Van Halen. Right then I knew I wanted to be a rock star! or something in the music industry. My friends and I would dress like the band Kiss in my bedroom, we would open the curtains and the neighborhood kids would come over and watch, we would lip sync and use my moms makeup and boots and light the asbestos floor on fire with alcohol and throw powder to make smoke effects. It was such a good time. 

In the 80’s it was all glam hair band rock for me. It all started with 10 cassette tapes for .99 cents and I remember getting a Bon Jovi tape, his first album, I must have worn out the song runaway, then the music scene exploded, Ratt, Poison, Motley Crue and Cinderella, too many bands to list here, but all of those bands were on fire and I wanted to do that. But somehow it never happened, between girls drugs and alcohol, and just stupid laziness, I just never focused and the years just flew by.

The 90’s my life shifted to the country music scene. The days of the big hair bands all but faded away and the country music scene was taking over the world. Artists like George Strait Garth Brooks, Dwight Yoakam and so many more opened a big door and smashed right through it. I would find myself in bars singing karaoke and again the alcohol drugs and women would continue to contribute to me not really doing anything with my musical career fantasy.

Mid 90's I sort of gave up on the fantasy of being a musical star and followed those years with a few marriages and kids. This became the staple of my life, along with divorces and one final marriage, which is my current marriage. Real life sets in and musical dreams become just that a dream.

At the age of 60, I decided it was time, I built a home recording studio in a spare room on our 18 acre farm in Tennessee and I attempted to write and make my own music. Never having  had lessons or any musical theory or training taught to me. It was frustrating and I almost quit, I had a bunch of songs in my head and knew how I wanted them to sound but couldn't figure out how to do it.

So at the age of 60 I started writing down the lyrics in my head and one day while on google I saw an ad that said put in your lyrics and we will make it a song. I did that and the first song Last chance was created, well after going through about 50 retakes then i finally got the one that was in my head. The songs just started to flow and they still do. 

My writing I believe has improved and the songs are getting better and there is more depth to them. I have released over 50 songs and 2 albums already and have enough music for probably 2 more albums which I will record in my home studio on my 18 acre farm I will use the same process except now I will  record and layer in my vocals and re work the arrangements and really make the songs mine even more with just a touch of A.I. 

Touring I haven't even thought about yet, this would require me to find the right musicians that can play my music by ear and mesh real good with me, if I toured It would be for the fans and i t would have to be fun not work !
