Ed Sullivan III — Born November 11, 1963, in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Ed Sullivan III is a Tennessee-based singer, songwriter, and recording artist whose music is built around real life, real people, and the stories that connect us.

Ed blends the storytelling traditions of classic country with modern country, Southern rock, and the rock influences he grew up listening to. His songs range from heartfelt ballads and reflections on family and life to upbeat country-rock songs meant to turn up loud and have a good time.

For Ed, songwriting isn't about fitting every song into the same mold. Some songs make you laugh. Some make you remember. Some hit a little closer to home. What matters is that the story feels real.

A member of ASCAP, Ed writes his own original songs and records them at his Tennessee home studio. Little Green Men Studios, Named for his intererst in Aliens and UFO's Stemming from the Podcast he used to do about Aliens, Bigfoot and the Paranormal.  He continues building an independent catalog that reflects where he's been, what he's experienced, and the people and places he's known along the way.

As his music continues to evolve, Ed is taking the next step in his journey by assembling Ed Sullivan III & The Road, a group of musicians who will help develop new original recordings and bring his songs to life on stage. His goal is to combine the creative freedom of his Tennessee home studio with the energy and musicianship of a live band, building a sound that stays true to his songwriting while opening the door to new musical possibilities.

When asked why he writes, his answer is simple:

“For me. But if my songs help someone else along the way, then I'd have to say… I write for us.”
