This song came to me one day when my wife was feeling down, I think everyone has felt that way a time or two, including me. Sometimes we forget to tell or show someone that we are there for them no matter what, and so this song developed. It started out as just a little piano melody I was fooling around with, wasnt sure what I was going to do with it, then after changfing the piano to guitar it started to take shape. I actually wrote the lyrics first and then must have done about twenty re writes till I finally got it, the original version I first wrote was longer and had a couple of more verses, but I felt it was taking to long to get to the chorus so I did some more editing and this was the final project. The cover art Is diffent from what I usually do, ( I am usually in the cover art LOL) but I felt this song needed something different. My original cover art had my little dog (AKA co producer) Scoobie right by the girl and growling like he is gonna attack the guy, it looked funny but I decided to go with the current one with the guys cute dog in the back of the truck. I will probably add the Scoobie version on this site only Wich would be thed full lyric version, so if I ever become famous it would be a good collectable!
